Two of Georgina’s historical fiction manuscripts are based on her ancestral home of Kastellorizo, Greece. A tiny island of six kms long and three kms wide, it has a rich cultural history. While she tried her hand originally at contemporary writing, her first manuscript was set in Italy featuring an Italian inheritance, a Ruby, and magpies with a touch of romance - the pull of her ancestral home was too much.
She has another manuscript set in Paris between the two great wars of the 20th Century, featuring a young Australian widow and the ‘Lost Generation.’
